Butler Brushes Off UTEP In The Second Half
Ok, feel free to blame me if you picked UTEP to make a run in the tournament! After being up 6 on Butler in the 1st half, UTEP came out flat in the second half only to lose by 18.
The Butler 2nd half turn around was due to Shelvin Mack scoring 18 of his 25 points in the 2nd half. Mack shot lights out from 3's, finishing 7-9 behind the arc.
UTEP's Derrick Caracter showed why he was so highly touted coming out of high school, as he finished with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Most of his damage came in the 1st half.
Well there goes one of my Sweet Sixteen sleeper teams! Now I'll have to pray that Louisville somehow manages to beat California today and Duke Sunday.
