SHOCKER: #14 Ohio 97 #3 Georgetown 83

NOBODY saw this one coming! After Georgetown's run to the Big East Championship, some people saw them as Final Four material (not me I had them losing in the Sweet 16).

It looked like an obvious mismatch, especially since Ohio went 7-9 in the MAC conference. It actually looked like a mismatch yesterday but it was Georgetown who looked like the #14 seed.

Georgetown had NO answer for Ohio's Armon Bassett, as he led Ohio with 32 points. D.J. Cooper added 23, DeVaughn Washington added 12, and Tommy Freeman added 11.

Honestly Georgetown got great production from Greg Monroe (19 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists) and Chris Wright (28 points), but it wasn't enough to beat Ohio.

Ohio looked like a team on a mission as they led by 12 at halftime and kept that spread almost the whole 2nd half. Next up for Ohio is #6 Tennessee, who beat #11 San Diego State 62-59.
